Chelsea have reportedly turned down multiple approaches for highly-rated defender Josh Acheampong, underlining the club’s determination to retain one of the brightest talents to emerge from its academy system.

The 20-year-old defender has been identified as a key figure in Chelsea’s long-term plans and has reportedly been granted “untouchable” status by the club’s hierarchy.
