Tinubu, Atiku Join Muslim Faithful for Eid Prayers in Lagos, Abuja

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday joined Muslim faithful at Dodan Barracks in Lagos to observe the Eid prayers alongside top government officials and political leaders.

Among those who accompanied the President were his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa; and Lagos Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat.

Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, disclosed details of the prayer gathering in a post shared on his X handle on Wednesday.

According to him, President Bola Tinubu joined other Muslim faithful to observe the Eid Mubarak prayers in Lagos.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also participated in Eid prayers at the AYA Mosque in Abuja.

In a message shared via his social media account, Atiku said the prayers were offered in gratitude to Allah for His countless blessings.

“I joined fellow Muslims this morning at the AYA Mosque in Abuja to observe the Eid prayers in gratitude to Allah for His countless blessings,” he stated.
