A Nigerian actress and content creator has opened up about her deeply personal decision to freeze her eggs, revealing that repeated heartbreaks and uncertainty about finding the right partner pushed her to secure her dream of motherhood.

Speaking in a candid interview, the actress said motherhood remains one of the most important goals in her life, but painful relationship experiences made her realise she could not entirely rely on love or marriage happening within a specific timeline.

“I really wanted to secure my future as a mother,” she said. “I realised many men are not emotionally available or mature enough to be husbands, and finding the right partner may take longer than expected.”

She explained that learning about egg freezing through former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa inspired her to consider the option seriously.

According to her, extensive research, consultations with doctors, online searches and conversations with ChatGPT helped her understand the process before making the decision.

The actress described the experience as empowering and emotionally healing, admitting she initially struggled with pressure after turning 30 without getting married.

“At first there was panic and fear, but eventually I found clarity and acceptance,” she said. “After the process, I felt fulfilled, happy and relieved.”

She added that freezing her eggs has given her peace of mind and freedom from the pressure of her biological clock, allowing her to take her time in finding the right partner.

Reflecting on motherhood, she said the process changed her perspective completely.

“Now I feel like a part of me already exists somewhere, waiting for me to protect and nurture,” she said.

The actress also opened up about her recent adventurous trip to Zambia, where she participated in high-risk activities that she said awakened a new level of confidence and bravery within her.

“I feel brave, powerful and unstoppable now,” she revealed. “I genuinely feel like I can conquer the world.”

Speaking about her upbringing, the firstborn recounted growing up with overwhelming responsibilities at a very young age, including caring for siblings and handling household chores.

“At eight years old, I already felt like an adult,” she said emotionally.

She credited her mother as her greatest inspiration, saying her struggles motivated her determination to succeed.

On her acting career, the actress revealed she had always dreamed of acting since 2010 but temporarily shifted into content creation because it offered more flexibility and opportunities.

Now fully returning to acting, she said she is passionate about telling emotional stories centred on love, betrayal, heartbreak and suspense.

“I want people to connect with my stories on a real level,” she added.
