Senator Abdul-Aziz Abubakar Yari has urged Nigerians not to lose hope despite the country’s current security challenges, insisting that the nation has repeatedly demonstrated resilience in the face of adversity.
Speaking against the backdrop of recent violent attacks, the senator called for courage, unity, and collective determination to overcome insecurity.
“This is not the time for despair. It is not the time for division. It is the time for unity, courage, and collective resolve,” Yari declared.
He argued that those behind acts of terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping seek to create fear and distrust among citizens but warned that Nigerians must not allow such objectives to succeed.
According to him, the country’s history is filled with examples of resilience and recovery from difficult periods.
Yari appealed to Nigerians to remain steadfast, support security agencies, and work together to deny criminals the opportunity to destabilize the nation.
The senator expressed confidence that peace would ultimately prevail, assuring citizens that Nigeria possesses the strength and unity needed to overcome present challenges.
He concluded by praying for divine protection and guidance for the nation and its people.
